This is excellent and started thinking along these lines recently. Love the simple 3 framed approach. Thanks

Excellent analysis, Patrick! Love how you highlight text as the core. It makes so much sense, though sometimes I wonder if *all* our messy human thought can ever be truely distilled into perfect plain text.

I'm right there with you! I can get a lot down in text, but at least for me I also often need to complement it with drawings (or images of some type). This more or less mirrors how I communicate ideas to other humans: I can say it to them in words or show them some visual.

Thankfully, the current AI models mostly accept images as input too, so I can sketch something out and provide that alongside some text and it works quite well. So I guess I'll have to add a section about how curating visuals alongside your text is also very useful!

The insight about text as the meeting point between human cognition and AI is spot-on. Once I started keepign my strategy docs in markdown instead of scattered notes, the ability to have AI synthesize patterns across months of thinking became a game changer. Plain text feels basic untill it becomes ur shared language with the machine.
